SCCYC Waterside Connect ‘Connecting Communities’

Northampton Punjabi School has been running for over 40 years, dedicated to teaching children from the ages 4–16 years the Punjabi language in reading, writing, listening and speaking and understanding the importance of the Sikh religion. We are committed to providing a safe, high quality, educational experience to children; in an environment that is both welcoming and them wanting to learn.

  • Experienced and dedicated teachers, some of whom who have experience of working within mainstream schools
  • All teachers and volunteers are DBS checked and attend educational and safeguarding training
  • Resources, materials, activities are modern and constantly updated
  • Proven track record in achieving GCSE’s passes year after year

The school also run Sikhi classes, to enable the children to become well rounded individuals following the Sikh ethos. The fundamental belief is that all of humanity is equal regardless of gender, faith, creed and caste, and the respect for one another’s values and customs are the right of every individual. We teach the importance of the Sikh Gurus and how those values are still the same today.
